Ok, found the car i want so this has to go, sacrifices will be made.
$65,000 OR BEST OFFER
1969 RoadRunner, post car
I bought this out of nostalgia so I'm sure i paid too much because its the exact car my Dad had when I was 8-9 yrs old. I used to be into old cars but its just not me anymore, I'll stick with my newer muscle.
Original 383/727 car, numbers matching motor (on dolly) and transmission (in car). 383 goes with sale of car.
FB only let's me load 10 pics, car has been completely gone through. You can eat off the engine bay and trunk floor.
Strong 440 motor with edelbrock carb, unknown cam, unknown compression, unknown year/application, Milodon deep sump pan, it was rebuilt with the car, previous owner just cant remember, he's 85 years old.
Underside sprayed with bedliner to protect it
8.75 rear, 3.91 gear, suregrip
2.5 in aluminized dual exhaust with X pipe, flowmaster mufflers and bumper down turns.
Staggered wheels-
15x7 front wheels, 215/65/15 BFG radial T/As
15X8 rear wheels, 275/60/15 BFG radial T/As
KYB shocks
Functional AirGrabber hood
4 spd radiator
Numbers matching trans w/deep pan and external oil cooler.
Interior perfect except dash lights dont work, all external lights, high beam indicators in dash and turn signals in dash work.
Alma, MO - 60 miles east of Kansas City
$65,000 OR BEST OFFER, NEEDS TO GO, HOPEFULLY TO SOMEONE WHO APPRECIATES IT MORE THAN ME.
Like it says BEST OFFER, I have other things to do.
I want to sell, I dont have to sell, but I'm fairly motivated as I has a supercharged ram srt-10 I want to get back to working on.

One more thing had a finder tag made to fill the spot on inner fender. Had mmc make it for me. Listed every thing on the form. Has a reproduction symbol stamped on it. Car had a 727 auto matic. I put the A833 trans in with console shift. Built it like I wanted it. Bucket seats from legendary had to modify the brackets. So build it like you want it

What?

No, I'll just keep it then, its for sale, not on sale
You must know Market is down for all muscle cars right now. Mecum only had one sale in Kissimmee this year. Look at what the average value of a roadrunner is and you will see the market value is Maybe 45 to 50 that would be an original paint matching numbers original exhaust not modified car for the market this car is a beautiful car right now is not the time to sell it . Give it a year or two maybe the market will be better.

Most insurance companies wouldn't insure it for more than 50 because it's not a 440 it's not a Hemi it's not a four-speed it's not original paint and that's unfortunate for you.

I'm sorry you have no clue on the insurance industry, its currently insured for $65k agreed value.
If you read the ad you would see it comes with numbers matching engine (on stand), trans (in car) and built 440

Yeah I'm obviously stupid. An insurance company will take your money for anything if you're willing to pay for it so what your agreed value is is not what you could sell the vehicle for or what the Market's holding that's all I'm trying to say I apologize for insulting you sir but I'm just trying to be helpful God bless you and have a nice life

I didn't say anything about being stupid, you specifically said an insurance company wouldn't insure it, I countered your opinion with facts about my insurance.
And no they won't just let me place any value i want on it. They get documentation on vehicle first. Wouldn't make any sense to agree to $150k (hemi or '69.5 440+6 car) just to turn around and pay it out in 6 months on a totalled vehicle .
The market is what a buyer and seller agree to, now, sometimes you find people who have the actual money the car is worth and sometimes you find someone who, in this economy, is desperate or short on time and sells it for less than its really worth. IMO, most of the cars that are "bargains or stolen at that price" end up with flippers.
There are a lot of cars out there in the $60-85k range that aren't '69.5 and up 440s or hemi cars (those are $120-175k).
Hopefully you dont believe the 440 71 cuda going around with a list price of $11k or the 69.5 RR priced at $30k
