As you all know had radiator problems. After spending two weeks making the A/C compressor move back so I could get more clearance between the radiator and fan. Put one of those upper hose filters in to keep debris out of the radiator. Was getting fluid on my motor and the engine from a leak. Thought it might have been the radiator cap but no. Thought I had a bad radiator or something there. No. So, after further inspection found that the new filter needed to be tightened or tighter. Found the O rings the glass seals off to need more pressure. As would have it I just don't have the strength like I use to. So, had to get my strap wrench on one end and both hands on the other in order to get it tighter. No more leak. It had me up all night thinking something else had gone wrong. So back on the road again and having fun. :beep:

Now I am going to rebuild a 489 case and put that in. Don't know what I am getting myself into this time. That is not cheap either. New ring pinion. New bearings. Everything new. I guess Doctor Diff is the best option on the parts. Unless someone else has input.

I'm unfamiliar with the filter.
Will investigate that.
Sounds like maybe a good thing in some cases.
I put one of Doctor Diffs Sure Trac 2 in a 741 case.
Not on the road yet.
So no more info.
But I would not shop anywhere else for rear stuff if he has what I need.
