I did a tutorial on restoring them years ago on this site but with the cost of chrome these days it may not be worth the labor of taking them apart and re assembling them. They are half chrome half stainless.

I have the same problem 1801, found a few sources, but question the quality. Are the all selling the same or is there different suppliers.??

I sent mine to a chrome shop in Minnesota, they turned out beautiful but reassembly was fun. They do now sell kits on ebay.
