Just finished installing a Gen 4 Vintage Air kit on my 69 RR with a 383 and 22" radiator with no shroud. I live in CA central valley and it gets pretty hot here so I know the stock setup is not going to be sufficient. I'm debating whether to add a row and a shroud to the stock radiator or bite the bullet and buy the Be Cool 80270 kit that comes with a 26" down flow core and 2 - 11" fans.
For those of you who have installed aftermarket AC, what have you done and how it is working? Thanks

A clutch fan and shroud will usually out perform electric fans but in either case a larger radiator will help
