what do you think about this tire size set up?

sorry to do this to you guys again, but the tire place said he thinks this set up would look good. and dont want to fork out money if they wont look right. anyone running these sizes?
15x7 rims all around
235-60-15 on the rear
215-65-15 on the front
 
I like 275-60R15 on the rear with 225-70R15 up front. The rear wheels should be 8" wide with this setup. Both tire sizes are the same diameter.
 
I've wondered how it would work out to have 245/60R15 at all four corners so they could be rotated. I've done 275s in the rear before and the tread just doesn't last very long on these cars.

Just an idea I've been tossing around.

This is my other set up. 225/75r 15 on 7' cop rims so they can be rotated. Still a little skinny

I like a 70 series tire on the back as well as the front. The taller tire in the rear gives the car about a 1 to 1.5 inches of forward rake. 225/70/15 ft and 255/70/15 rear.
 
I have 235 70 R 15" on the rear and 225 70 R 15" on the front. The centerline rims have 275 60 15 on the rear and E78 14" bias on the front. They are skinny at 5" tread. The 275 and the 235 radial are the same height at 28.5" tall. :thumbsup:

l've got a mg around here w/a gold '69 GTX that had magnums w/ 245s all aound. looked good.
 
I'm running 245/60 at all 4-corners, but the rear are 15x8 and the front are 15x6.5 (prob too much tire for this rim size), although since the back wheels are wider they make the tire have a wider cross section.
Im making the switch this winter to red lines, and I'm going to 255/60 rear, 235/60 front with 15x7s up front. I did have a little rubbing up front with the 245/60 on the 15x6.5 but their Back spacing was around 4 3/8". The 7" up front with the fact that they have a 4" BS should do the trick....

At one point my 68 Charger had 255/60R15X8 with 4.5" backspacing on the front. I don't recall having a rubbing issue with those so I figured 245/60R15X8 with 4.5" backspacing would work fine on a Road Runner. Later the Charger got 235/60R15 still on 8" inch wheels and 4.5" backspacing. Think the 8" wheels were too wide for that tire size; 7" inch should be just right.
 
I like the Magnum 500 and the cop rims. 15x7 with 205-225 in the front and 15x8 with 235-255 in the back ist perfect for me.

If I had to do it over again I'd just get 4 235-70R/15's at all 4 corners on 7" rims. Tread width is a modest 8" but they look really nice. I remember seeing a '69 runner with these tires mounted on a set of Cragars and it looked outstanding.
