I'm having the transmission rebuilt in my 69 RR, once it got pulled it is blue in color and has a thirty spline yoke. From what little I know it doesn't sound like the tranny that is supposed to be in it. Like a dope I didn't look at any of the stampings so right now I have nothing to go by. Any help is appreciated.

30 right for a tail shaft, it is going to be 18 or 23 on the input most likely 23. It was probably painted blue by someone in the past,

Thanks, I was thinking input but counting tail shaft, that's why it didn't make any sense.

We've got a local rebuilder that paints everything with a flat medium blue that is probably bought in 55 gal drums/maybe implement enamel. No gloss and I mean everything but the splines, bearing retainer where the release bearing rides, and shift mechanism!
