The wheel cylinders I removed on the rear of my Scamp had pistons in them with a socket/indentation on the face. The new wheel cylinders I bought have a flat face on the piston face. Can I still use the pins/links from my old WC? The pin/links (whatever you wanna call 'em) are curved at the end that goes into the wheel cylinder.
These pieces push against the brake shoe on one end and seat through the rubber boot on the wheel cylinder on the other end.

Sounds like the pistons are in backwards? The side with the indentation needs to face outwards for the pin to fit into.

Bet if you take one of the boots off and push the piston out you will find the indentation . :yesnod:

Just like Craig and Harold said installed backwards.

Well, unfortunately Advance sold me the wrong wheel cylinders....surprise-surprise :brickwall:

Neither side had the cup face. Also, these are 13/16 bore and should be 15/16.
