Getting the vinyl roof installed. The installer wants me to take off the windshield trim. How difficult a job is this and any tips would be great. I just replaced the front glass and had the rear reset and the painter just had the molding out so I'm hoping it wont be to difficult. Thanks for your help.

A little tip I learned about putting the trim back on is to trim the seams of the top. From the back side of the top using a sharp single edge razor blade, carefully slice the doubled up portion that goes under the moldings. That is completely necessary for the drip rail moldings to go back on without damaging them on the A pillar.

Thanks 4sp and droptop. He's going to reinstall. I think
He is afraid of damaging them during removal that's why he wants them off.
