fuel pump

and don't forget to check the fuel pump push rod..I've heard of those going bad, ends can wear. so check the pump when you pull it.

Ok i'll check it when i pull it. So perhaps it could "only" be the push rod of the pump?
So it's possible that the fuel pump works normaly but because of the push rod the gas doesn't make it to the carb?

right...and I have heard once or twice the lobe on the cam wear out...but that is rare.

As the rod wears it would cause a weak flow like an old guy taking a pee. Big John can probably explain that:D:leave:

Ok so I got to check that lobe too.
But we'll go for a holley pump fuel. Cause we'd like to upgrade the engine so we will go for some high perf parts.
