Kinda figured it would be something like that. The panel inside the car is really small. I did pull that off and all that is there is the hole for the handle, useless with my be meat claws.

With back seat out and the rear panel off you don't have a big access hole lower. Thought their should be. Don't think the car I have even two post would be different. But cant say with a convertible top. Still believe their should be access you can get you arm in. Pretty big opening lower towards the floor on mine where I could vacuum out towards the rocker. But maybe it is more solid due to the convertible top to give it more strength. Hope you get the problem Ironed out it is really a good looking car.

Still driving around with it down. But you are right I probably will have to remove the back seat to get at it, no other way permits enough access. I can see down inside with a flash light and everything looks to be in place, the window will come up about 1inch then the handle just won't turn over to wind it up, it's stuck. But the biggest thing for me is I have no idea what the heck I'm doing even if I do get in there and without it right in front of my face to get a good solid look at the mechanism I don't think I will be able to determine what is wrong. For now it's OK, don't really need to have it up. It's just a pain in the butt though. Everything was taken apart on the car and put back together, so who knows. The shop who did a lot of the work, not this portion though - long story on that, suggests I bring it back in just for a once over to make sure things are good. He said he'll fix it no problem for me. So if you happen to see a B7 with a V7B accent stripe convertible 1969 Roadrunner driving around with the driver side window down when all the other may be up it's probably me.

not that big of a project. pull the armrest, then you can pull the seat out. then the rear door panel. have a putty knife to work under the door panel to pop the retaining clips out. take a look at the window regulater to see if there is any obvious problem. the glass is held onto the regulater with two bolts. you have to raise/lower the window to get a socket on them.

Sounds easy enough. It's going to have to wait a bit though as first I'm 6'6", mostly legs, and I just had hip surgery a couple weeks ago so putting myself in certain positions such as anything to do with the back seat isn't going to be possible. Really not a problem though I'm losing any sleep over, just annoying.

You will forget all about that hip problem.:lol: Watch out the shark's are swimming it sound's like after the car. It is probably something simple. Miss aligned glass or just need's some silicone on the window channel's. Well it is not that bad of a prob. You will get it my friend. Take care of the hip and let it heel. Russ.

No way man I will help you out with negotiation's. Will start at 100.000 thousand and do I here any bidder's. Take it to Barret Jackson Sold-Sold-Sold. Your out of your mind if you sell that runner with all the years you got in her. It becomes like an old pair of Blue Genes with holes and every thing. Like I just got them broke in.
