Good lord. I said that it is an A12. Google is your friend if you haven't learned what "A12" means from all of your time on this site...

Your only miss informed when someone dose not answer a simple question. A12 was not the question but what motor and carb set up it had. So after looking I did not find any thing out their. Found the number's to order and ran them. Now I know that is why you have been looking for so long. Carter part number 3514520 early part number late 3549318. According to the number stamped on the solenoid see it is not the ordering part number. But did not find one any where so it is a rare item if I am NOT WRONG again.

A12 was in fact the clue that COMPLETELY answered your question before it was even asked. If you know what an A12 is, then you know the engine displacement AND the carburetion because there is only one possibility. No idea why you are introducing other P/Ns into the equation when I already enumerated the correct P/N of the piece that is required for a CORRECT RESTORATION. Honestly, you wear me out with some of your directionless commentary. This line of discourse in this thread is EXACTLY what Basketcase was complaining about in his toilet bowl thread... Follow the bread crumbs... :wtf:

Well if you Know where to get it then go ahead. If some one is trying to help and spend time searching for one then what is the problem. Some comment's that have been expressed here are not very becoming. These comment's are the lack of intellectual Adult hood. Like the Toilet comment's. Sorry I don't know every thing their is to know but with Out conversation's then how is a person to learn. We guy's joined here to be helped and help other people if we can. Every step of a restoration is a learning process and their are no books out their to buy that show every detail of these car's. The Inter web dose not have all the answer's either. :beep:

Wasn't that the deal - he was doing it as a side job and there was no time table? This is what I remember for some reason...

Yes, but nothing in 6 months.......just wanting to see some progress.

Apparently, these are useless so I thought I would try Santa Clause
