Snow what is that stuff. Man where in the 90's here already. I am not liking it at all. We stay cool till Easter week but not this year. Yes enjoying the cheaper price on fuel but don't need it if I am stuck at the house. Self Lock down. Plenty to do on the runner and they bring the parts to me. Via UPs or Fed x.

Dose any one remember pumping the gas into the glass globe on top then putting it into your vehicle. The globe is where you measured the gallon's you wanted to buy. I was always first one out so I could pump the gas into the globe. I was 6 or 7 at that time. Like the old pumps. Those where the day's 10 cent for a coke and a 5 cent for the cracker's.

That’s back when there were only like 6 cars total on the road.

Yep even use to see horse and buggy's. Do you guy's remember getting stamps when buying gas. They use to wash you windshield and check the oil. Even the tire pressure. Those day's are long gone.

I remember the S&H green stamps, cleaning the windshield, checking the oil and tire pressures, but not the glass bottle.

Their where only two stations that had those when I was a kid. The other's has to crank the handle to clear the pump and their was a sight glass above the glass that showed the amount of fuel pumped and the price. It had a spinner in it and turned as the fuel was pumped. Thought that was cool. Yes S and H stamp's. What was Hessco Gas station also. Phillips 66- Sunoco- Shell- Standard gas. The day's before convenience stores had fuel. Like 7 eleven. All the guy's I knew when we got our car's hung out at the curb service drive in restaurant. Just like in Happy day's. No social media. You had to go out and meet people and have fun.

with all the madness going on now, we actually have a couple of gas stations that have gone to having an attendant pump your gas in attempts to help reduce the spread of covid-19.

There's only 1 joint that I know of round here that will still pump gas, check oil and water. Shane they don't have premium, or else I'd be there 3 times a week

I used to pump gas at the Sunoco station when I was in school. Not glass top pumps. I did wash windshields, ck oil, Tires, washer fluid. Sunoco 190 grade gas was 21.9 a gallon, and 260 was I think 34.9. All lost in time.
