I need the catches or whatever you call them that weld to the floor and hold the rear seat bottom in place. they can be just cut out with or without some floor left on them.
The 1970 shifter mechanism is different as well as the shift handle. if you use the 69 shifter the 70 pistol grip will hit the dash. I've seen a couple guys do it so it will work if you can live with that.
That's what it looks like, but the door that opens the vent to the cowl is wide open to the heater core. it makes sense that the heater would send the heat out the cowl when you don't want it, but when you open the door on a hot day for outside air you get the heat with it. that's why I'm...
I agree I thought charcoal was a Dodge thing. but you can find all sorts of P6XA examples of charcoal, black inserts and silver trim on Plymouth. at least in 1970 anyway.
I'm restoring the heater box for my '70 project and I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if I'm missing a part.
I assume B bodies without A/C do not have a water shut off . so I assume you have to hold the hot air in the heater box . so I assume if you shut the defrost door and the...
It sounds like you're more of a purist than I am, and that's a curse. P6XA is charcoal with black inserts and a silver welt.
Look at it this way, as Galen Govier stays away we're good there aren't many people in the world who'd know.. I'm going to go with either the P6XA my tag says or...
I see Road Runners with the Plymouth script decals from a Super Bird on the quarter panel now and then. I think it looks real sharp ( my car is a Limelight '70 ) but as we all know it's not correct.
I'm struggling with it as I'm an originality freak. I want to do it but I know it's...
I need the parts for the parking brake on both sides for 11" drums. the bars between the shoes and the levers the cable hooks too.
I couldn't figure ot why my project's E brake didn't work , so I pulled the drums and found some moron threw this stuff away the last time they did the brakes.
If you need to work on the dash then pull it. I did it on my Super Bee and it's not that tough, I'm going to do it on my Road Runner too.
At the factory they installed the dash as a complete unit , if you watch Gravyard Carz they do it the same way.
Last time I installed all my wiring...
I'm not sure. I inquired about these and from what I can find they are not for 1970 models. I have no idea what the difference is between 70 and the others.
Does anyone know what the lower front fender braces looked like on a 70 Road Runner? mine are gone and I've watched ebay for months and can't find any. they repop 68-69 but not 70. maybe I can fab some if I knew what I was trying to duplicate.
