Russ, a good title would be, "Question about hood stripes" As for the V21 code, that would have been on the fender tag. Or you could see the option on the build sheet. If you don't have either, feel free to make the car what you want. Who cares if it came with them originally.

I concur with Ranger, more accurate titles would go a long way. I prefer the stripes. I think if you like them go with them. If your car is a V21 optioned car then even better, but if it is not, and you like the stripes, then go for it!

Thanks for the input. I can put money into a car to restore. My starting budget is $12k. Not interested in anything else. One will pop up. Just have to keep looking.

Sold it for the $14k. Oh well. I will keep looking.

Just wondering as I am learning on the restoration side of things, what would be the reasoning for painting the car, but not the underside of the hood, trunk lid, or inside the trunk? This doesn't make sense to me. It makes me think that someone slapped a quick paint job on it to try to get more...

Really like the blue one with the white top. Sharp car. Too bad these are out of my price range.
