I have this piece from a 70 440-4 GTX & no longer want to keep it. It's an original base in near perfect shape (has 1 small ding in lip, can be seen in 3rd pic, easily fixed) just needs to be glass beaded & painted to be a very nice piece. I figure someone might be needing it more than me...

I have an Air Grabber base plate from a 70 GTX that I'm going to blast & re-paint. I know it's black, but is there a certain paint I'm supposed to use to do it correctly & where would I find it? I've used Herb's Parts paint before & was very happy with it, but I don't see this particular paint...

Just wondering. Is the optional hood stripe on a 70 Road Runner paint or decal? I'm thinking it's painted on from the factory.

Found it! It was on the right side of the steering column under the dash. E-Flasher was near the ashtray under the dash, if anyone else that has a 70 Road Runner runs into the same situation. I don't why Chrysler would change locations from a year earlier, but hell, they might be in different...
