When my 70RR is sitting flat on the ground and i go out back to check the tailights i noticed that there is a slight very noticeable lean to the drivers side. I measured the height from ground to top of the rear wheelwell and there is a 1/2" or better difference from psgr. side to drvr. side....Any ideas? Hope it's not frame related!!

My spring's where shot so replaced with new one's. Might could get a shackle a little longer for that side if it is available. Just thinking.

If I remember from my youth when I owned my RR in 75 that is the adjusting bolt located in the lower control arm on the left and right sides.
Where do you advise to take the measurements?

From Tom Condran's performance handling for classic mopars book.

Level front end. Then got under it and turned the left side adjuster maybe a turn and checked height after bouncing the suspension a little and thats when the front height evened out and it appears from the back that it might be less now....took it for a spin and will recheck.

Keep in mind if you make too big of an adjustment you may need a new front end alignment.

Lower the right front by releasing pressure on the torsion bar or raise the left front by increasing pressure.

Did some minor adjustment to the left side adjuster to possibly raise it,but overall I may have only turned the bolt1-1/2 turns. Maybe notice a slight change in the left side from looking from the back. My main concern is making sure that the front heights are equal. Best indicator for me is the rubber bumper at the lower arm. I would think that measurement to be important.
Any other thoughts are welcome!

Those are fine threads. 1.5 turns isn’t that much of an adjustment. Measure from the ground to the fender lip

Been taking that measurement and it varies a little, depends on some other factors: tire pressure, bounce that suspension some, could be someone else re-hung a fender at some point.
But I will keep noodling with it.

New spring's are not that much. With all the other work you have done. The old ones are probably tired. Saw an option on rebinding them but don't think that is a good idea either. IMG_0103.JPG IMG_0102 (1).JPG 2 1/2 inch recurve.

Like previously discussed someone said just raise the left side torsion bar adjustment and the backend should even out, then the front is out of whack. The rear shock mount you speak of,what am I looking for on my left side shock and bolt?
