I've had good experience with my Holley DP. The car had an Edlebrock when I bought it. Even after a rebuild it wasn't right. The same guy rebuilt the Holley and it's been great since 2009. Just seems to be personal preference.

Yeah, I have 3.91's currently. Like Dave said, they're fun in town. Get out on the highway though and it's a bit different. If I had a set of 3.54's laying around, Id go with them. My 3.91's are still good to go for now however, so Im not gonna buy a set.

Yeah, absolutely correct IMO. Unless your car is a Hemi car, or something else equally rare, you'll never get back all of your money. Make the car the way you want it and enjoy it.

Yeah, that pin can be a pain. Use a proper roll pin punch of the correct size and a big hammer. Id soak it for a day or so in WD-40 or something similar. It helps to remove the battery tray as well as you can get more room to swing with it out of the way.
