what color was a 2 speed wiper on a 69 road runner. Was it body color?

I have new window felt (catwhiskers) that I'm getting ready to install. My question is, the rear inside felt looks like it was originally installed with a type of staple and I was wondering what some of ya'll did to reinstall the felt.

Just FYI, I have a 68 Sport Satellite, bucket seats, and column shift. I realize its not a Road Runner, but it is a b body.

thanks JD, since you jarred my memory about what they look like, I'll go back to R/T Spec. and have another look.

Does anyone know what the fasteners look like and where you can get them for the parking light assembly. I'm guessing they're some type of nut that push into the square holes on the bumper. Its a 69.

maybe just try and concentrate on one area at a time, do the radiator support area first then a inner fender and so on.

I have a minor problem, the sheetmetal plates on the underside of the hood that come in contact with the hood bumpers. With the hood open they look like they can go on vertical or horizontal. I need to put them back on and want to do it right, a pic would help alot if ya'll know the area I'm...

Working on the motor, Its a 451, Stealth heads, 509 cam, 10.5:1 comp. Getting the carb next, 870 Holley Street Avenger.

Also, I wouldn't use the fingernail polish on it, because it might react with the paint and you'll have a bigger problem.

What do you guys use for gasket sealant on your oil pan, valve covers, water pump etc.....I'm finally getting around to putting my motor together.:D

Make sure your seat back is down all the way, it could be just laying on top of the hooks. Also if your seat back isn't reaching the plates and you install the seat bottom there will be a gap. If you you look at the top of your seat thats up against the package tray it should be sticking up...

If you have removed the cylinders you can take them to locksmith and they can change them for you. I did a set a few years ago and I don't remember it costing very much.

I guess your asking me what color it was. it was B5, blue int., black top.

Thanks Steve. I'm not against putting on a vinyl top, but it will be something I'll do later. I had a Challenger, restored it, drove it a few years, and decided one day I wanted a vinyl top on it. Had it put on and it made a world of difference on that car. I hardly recognized it when I picked...

Yes it had a vinyl top (black), thats why I had to replace the roof. I'm not putting one back on it, but you never know?

I finished all the wet sanding, buffing, and polish, plus I started putting some things back on the car. I had to put the road runner emblems and decals on, I couldn't wait. I'm going to put a few more items back on the car, like the back bumper, and then get started putting my motor together.

Hey Bob, Is the dash bird and the trunk bird decals the same? Cause the decal I have, which is the same one as the one on the trunk looks too large for the dash according to the pic. Might be an illusion with the decal still on the backing paper.?????
