It's missing the black paint stripes on the finish panel and in the taillights. The back window looks like a 4 door car to me, anyone else think so?

I would say that the 4 speed conversion isn't terribly hard to undo, but the color change would be quite costly to change back. If I were a potential buyer I would consider the costs to undo the changes.

Fresh paint! The rest of the body parts were painted off the car. It should be wetsanded, buffed and assembled this week!

Here's how I drove the car to break in the drivetrain- it's a good thing I live in the country! The motor is a 68 440HP with KB 236 pistons, 906 heads, balanced bottom end, and a Comp Cams XE275 cam- .525 lift int and ex.. It idles surprisingly well, but turns on nicely with the 4 speed and 3.91s.

Remove the thermostat and put everything back together. Leave the radiator cap off and see if the water is moving, you can narrow things down like that. I've seen the lower hose collapsed and not letting water flow, some of the real cheap hoses don't have a spring. Once you get it figured out...

Looks like you're moving along at a nice pace, and leaving no stone unturned! I had poly bushings in my '68 and they did get noisy after a short while. Looks good!
