70 Road Runner, GTX, Satellite, Belvedere - Car Show thread

I may have already shown this somewhere on the site. I can't remember. The last pic at the beginning of the thread was right after I trailered it with my brother's. I've got the front end mostly sorted out, and now I'm crossing my fingers I'll have the cash this summer to have the engine...

    smashed to death! RIP

I wonder if that is an old insurance claim. Growing up, we used to off road to the top of a mountain near us, to a massive granite rock face that was several hundred feet tall. At the bottom of the rock was nearly 20 vehicles that were pushed off the cliff.

they need to be voted out of office

I don't support the bill, and strongly support our right to bear arms, but on the surface the bill looks like it can help American gun manufacturers. I know there are good foreign guns, but I'm not against the block on importing them. I only buy US made guns, even if most American guns have...

    A USMC joke

A Marine squad was marching north of Fallujah when they came upon an Iraqi terrorist who was badly injured and unconscious. On the opposite side of the road was an American Marine in a similar but less serious state. The Marine was conscious and alert and as first aid was given to both men...

Email I just received on Keisler

Basically, yes. There is an outright sale offered where he serves through transition only. But he's really asking for funding sources to bring the cash and credit to create an LLC with him as a minority partner. I think in that situation, his involvement will be determined by the majority.

    Obamacare website

Also, for another reference: According to the Open Secrets site, "a research group tracking money in U.S. politics and its effect on elections and public policy," CGI donated $128,000 to federal candidates and 52% of the recipients were Republicans. They also found that CGI President...

    Obamacare website

That's not all true information. It was reported on Fox News and Bill O'Reilly. However, according to an October 13, 2013 article by the Washington Examiner. The article said, "CGI was one of 16 companies that had been qualified by HHS during President George W. Bush's second term to...

Disgusting waste of air force one

How much vacation any president takes is amazing. GW took 1020 vacation days during his two terms- the most of any president since Hoover. That's nearly three years out of 8 years as president. It includes 77 trips to his Crawford, TX ranch and the longest recess of any modern president at 5...

Mopar Muscle Mag publishes a people's vote; '69 RR #7 and 10 out of 10

You have to wonder what the demographics are on that survey, as well. I've heard enough guys on this and the FBBO forums say they aren't on Facebook to make me question the survey's accuracy.

FOR SALE This Phoenix 69 Roadrunner Craigslist ad confuses me. (Not Mine)

http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/cto/4278742065.html $37,500 will get you a paint job and plenty of lift. I'm so confused. It's seems like the only thing gasser about this RR is the straight front axle, or maybe I have a lot to learn.

    The one's that got away.

The two for me are cars my dad had, that he didn't give me the opportunity to buy. One was the 70 RR that is my avatar. The other is a 76 Ramcharger he traded to a buddy, that I wanted to so badly when I turned 16.

I'm also wondering if, for the price, should you expect the front brakes to be converted to disc? When I rebuild my front end geometry, the discs will be part of the job. Not sure what others think, but I want my brakes upgraded no matter what.

dont know how they do it but i want one

The handle is a hollow with a tube that runs through the handle into the spout. The spout is fabricated to look like a spigot, but normally a spigot valve handle opens toward the front of the spigot instead of left-to-right. Notice he always holds his hand a specific way to hide the tube...
