Starting Line, Pony Express 100 Race. 100 miles running flat out on highway 305 (same highway Vanishing Point was filmed). Note: Thanks to the 2:74 open rear end I finally got a change to peg that 150mph speedo! Talk about fun, nothing like turning loose a 440+6 Road Runner on an open highway.
Car has TTI headers with 3" dual exhaust. 5000 rpm was about 163mph, the sound was unbelievable. It sounded like the old Richard Petty big block Mopars on the big super speedway tracks.
