I am brand new to this site and I searching but not finding quite what I am looking for and I am hoping you all can help me.
My father got cancer and while he was still alive he gave me his car which he special ordered in 1969. It ran when parked but has sat for 10 years, always garaged. I have new tires coming and am in the process of cleaning out the fuel system and giving it a tuneup. Should be ready to go after that. I want to get insurance but not sure of the value I should put on the car.
Here is what I can figure out from the fender tag:
N96 Fresh Air Hood
R11 Radio Solid State AM (2 Watts)
26 26in Radiator
END End of Sales Codes
A01 Light Package
A36 3.55:1 High Preformence Axle Package
J25 3 Speed Wipers
L31 Hood/Fender Mounted Turn Signals
M21 Roof drip rail moldings
N85 Tachometer
M2X Trim - Opt. Decor Group, Vinyl Bench Seat, Black
X9 Black Int. Door Frames
407 Build Date: April 07 1969
079763 Order number
E63 383 cid 4 barrel V8 H.P. 335hp
D21 4 Speed Manual Transmission
RM21 Plymouth Belvedere,Satellite Medium, Road Runner 2 Door Coupe
H9G: 383 330HP OR 335HP 1-4BBL 8 CYL
St. Louis, MO, USA
I have the window sticker, order paperwork, original bill of sale, original title and other original paperwork and factory service manual. I have the magazines that he looked at in 1967/8 to decide to buy the car. It has 55K miles, never been wrecked or had any metal replaced. All original paint and interior. Only thing not 100% as it rolled out of the factory is there is a set of headers on it but I do have the original cast iron manifolds and my dad did have to replace the alternator because the original made a ticking sound on the radio but I have the original one.
I am including some pictures so you have some kind of ballpark idea of what it would be worth. Any help given would be much appreciated.
