anyone see this on the 'parts? guy just finished a 10 year resto, took car out for it's first drive.

My friend was told the lugs sheered off, but I bet they were loose

in the thread on the 'parts, it said the car had a Ford Explorer reaend, and the studs were stripped.

That's what you get when you use Exploder parts.
Nobody deserves that though, I feel bad for him. Hope he had it insured well enough.

Brings to mind a question. Do any of you guys put anti-seize on the studs? I never do, just doesn't seem right....... :huh:

That's why we have insurance. Sucks, but he should be getting a check. If not,
too bad. Worst nightmare is right.
