383 motor.

Well the only real way to weld cast is to heat it till it’s red hot and keep it hot while you weld it you really need to know what you’re doing I mean you could half way do it but it won’t be right
Ive been trying to correct what I said about the missing iron on the first block, its fine they are cast that way!!!

I appreciate that so when I get into mine I wont have a hart attack. If their is a hole their. Not seeing the block in person makes it hard to tell if their was a piece of iron their or not. Could not figure how that would be broke out any way but I did not know. Russ.

I also have a set of 906 heads recently cleaned and milled, rebuilt distributors for bb and rb and other stuff. Need to clean out my garage. Also a 16:1 steering box.

It already has 8 holes in it for the pistons what is one more. I put two extra in one with the push rod one on one side of the block and one on the other side plus one in the oil pan.

Dress up a stroker 400 as a 383, get some races with a poker face, and win enough money to pay for the build!
BWA-HA-HAAAAA

Now that is just not fair. But do what you got to do to pay for extra part's for the car I guess. Guy's use to say pop the hood before a race and I would tell them you can look for a hundo. Or put your money where you mouth is.
