wel I don't know the excat measurements, but a propeller shaft from a '69 Charger R/T, 440 automatic, 8 3/4 worked fine in Freebird( 440 4 speed 8 3/4)
and the gas line from the same '69 Charger fit just fine on a '69 road runner.

Sounds like the wheelbase difference on the B-Bodies could be somewhere other than between the tranny crossmember and the axle centerline; unlike the A-Bodies. But then we have to factor in Bob's comments about the axle mounting points... Sounds like a mini-mystery that we need to unravel...

The drive line would fit from a charger but the slip on the tranny would be a little short and the fuel line is the same on b-bodies. We are only talking about an inch in the rear. :beep:

Section 16 of the service manual has shaft lengths for all the Plymouths. Any one have a Dodge service manual?

I have one. Here are the lengths for the Coronet/Charger.
383, 4-speed, 8-3/4=52.07".
426 & 440, 4-speed, 9-3/4 DANA=50.96".
383, Auto(727) 8-3/4 including station wagons=52.07".
426 & 440 Auto, all models with 8-3/4=52.07".
