New member here, been looking at this car on Ebay, talked to the current owner a bit. I don't have much knowledge on these cars and don't want to make an expensive mistake. I understand Dodge Plum Crazy was not an available color on 69s. What else am I missing? Owner says no rust except as noted in his listing. Air grabber parts are missing, looks like buckets are not factory (if you google the VIN he listed it brings up car when sold in New Jersey and more pics). Not sure about wiring upgrade, other than 1 wire Alt.

From the pics how does the car look to those of you who know these cars?

Thank you.

I would request some pictures of frame rails, trunk drops to quarter panels from underneath and some from inside the trunk. The rear window trim doesn't fit well at all so the trim is bent or some bad body work under it. If it was rust it will show up in the trunk. The front seats are from a different car no big deal and the under hood pics are to dark to see anything. Looks like the grill was repainted again no big deal. Some of the body lines don't look right might be filler or bad body work. the red screens on the hood indicate an air grabber but nothing under the hood.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've seen some photos of the trunk, but I'll ask for a few more.

Thanks for the comments. I went ahead and bought the car, will be a week or two before it arrives to me.

Finally got the car home. A few surprises, but generally what I expected. First big issue appears to a heater core replacement, as it has NONE. AC car, so looks to be a decent size job. Searching online, looks like I can find everything except the tubes that connect to the core at the heater box and run to outside the firewall, any suggestions where I can find those or a part number to make the search easier.

Unless I am misunderstanding your question, the tubes are attached to the heater core when you purchase it; they are not separate.

It appears on an AC car, there is a junction at the corner of the heater/ac box where the lines from the heater core are pressed into the tubes that snake around and exit the cowl.

Not sure but I'm willing to bet the heater core tubes come through the firewall and you flip that around and slip it over the tubes the other direction from the engine side to stabilize the tubes. Do the two tubes of that part fit threw the firewall?
