You can put a shroud on that radiator. You need the brackets that bolt to the side of the radiator and the metal shroud.

I think someone is repoping them.

Optional... That I don't know, but I have seen them on 440 R/T Dodges.

I have a 22" core. Put on a Mopar clutch and 5 blade fan. Which fits in a repop'd shroud. Everything was fine until the clutch dug a hole in the rad. Found a shorter clutch. Been trying to find a replacement aluminium rad but cannot with the correct hose placements. May just have mine recored.

1969 383 Road Runner - 4-Speed or Automatic w/22-inch Radiator

22-inch radiator - P/N 2949053
18-inch seven blade fixed fan with 2-inch pitch - P/N 2863224
1.24-inch long spacer - P/N 1825932

No radiator shroud came standard.

I have to wonder if Chrysler engineers selected this exact combination of parts to provide more than adequate cooling at any given speed.

The above listed parts are what came on my Road Runner and I intend to retain them other than I may add the reproduction fan shroud as follows:

"130" - 22" B & C-Body Radiator Fan Shroud - $175 each
An excellent reproduction of the 1969 B- & C-Body 22" V-8 radiator fan shroud. Original part number 2949 130. Correct for 1969 440 powered cars with 22" radiator including Chargers, R/T's, GTX's, and various C-Body models. Injection molded with all of the details of an original part.

NOTE: Can also be used on 1966-68 318, 383, and 440 powered B and C-Body cars in conjunction with the #9176 Fan Shroud Mounting Bracket Kit when used on original equipment radiators that would normally use a steel shroud. Will also work on 1969 22" B & C-Body V-8 radiators used for 318 and 383 equipped cars" Link - http://dantesparts.com/fanshroud.html

I'll also pay the coin to have Glen-ray radiators restore my radiator - http://restorationradiators.com/
