Hello my people, I could use some help....Please. I recently purchased a 1969 RR with a 4 speed. One of the shifter shaft seals is leaking and I have tried to look up the part number so that I can order it and repair. Does anyone possibly have the part number ? Thank you in advance.

The shift shaft seal is an O-ring. Three are used on the A-833 4-speed manual transmission. The original Chrysler part number is 1536267.

Specifications for the seal are as follows:
  • Inside Diameter: 0.437 inch
  • Outside Diameter: 0.625 inch
  • Thickness: 0.093 inch

Some aftermarket part numbers include the following:

Fel-Pro 409
Victor Reinz 72111
McCord 71-0009
National (Federal Mogul) 622709

NOTE: The foregoing numbers are often packed in multiples, but might be sold as a multiple or as singles.

Brewer's Performance offers them in kits, but might sell them separately.

One of the front two or the rear one? In case you didn't already know the rear O-ring or reverse the transmission has to come all apart. The front two are in the side cover.

shift shaft seals are industry number 111 and Duro 70. Front input seal is national 9376- rear boot seal is national 7300S. Speedo pinion seal is Pioneer SO13. Speedo adapter o-ring is Pioneer 760016
