Take a photo of the back side it will be easier to read.

Try laying a piece of paper over it and rub it with a pencil.

Being a Lynch Rd car, there will be almost no options on the tag. The top line is the gate numbers, the next line down are the engine, trans and rear end codes, the bottom line is obviously the VIN, next line up is the color
A4 is buffed silver, or in 69 it’s called Platinum Metallic, and the reason there are 2 A4 codes are that the body and roof are both painted
P6X is premium trim level, 6 is bucket seats, X is black,
X9 is black upper door paint
1X is black vinyl top, and yes the roof was painted before the top was installed
26 is a 26” radiator
595 is 3:23 SG 8 3/4” rear end
E86 is 440 4bbl 385hp
D21 is 4 speed with reverse light, as is the 605 code at the top
