Thanks for sharing chapdog! I hope you have a thread up on this and I'll be subscribing if you do... is it orange or R4 .. I can't tell in the lighting.

The Sat and the R/T were/are girlymatics. If I still had the 70 Sat it would most definitely have been a 4 gear by now and I'm thinking about putting a 4 gear or Tremec in the R/T one day!

Thanks droptop . whats the story on your avatar? Is that this car? The red interior in the avatar makes me really want to see more.

I envision a black car, black top, with v21 hood treatment, red interior, red wide side stripe, red screens in air grabber, red line tires on recall wheels, etc. Paint and body work is my only down fall. I do all the rest of the restoration myself. Here is a pic of the dash in progress. Key switch, radio plate, ash tray, etc. have been completed after this pic was taken. It is wrapped up and in the rafters of the barn with the other components that I completed waiting for my paint jail sentence to be up. I have no build sheet or data plate, so I am going to build the car like I would have ordered it if I could have bought a new car in '69.
335 horse 383
4 speed (833 overdrive)
3:91 sure grip
p/steering
p/disc
bucket seats with buddy seat (no console)

It's stunning. What color code is that? R4?

It is 1187 red interior paint from Herb's parts. It was a perfect match for the top dash pad that I bought from BE&A.

Thanks man. I sometimes have pipe dreams of a Red or Blue interior and an 69 A5 platinum exterior for the R/T. Then I come back to reality and realize the best plan is to stay the course and just drive it as is once the mechanicals are gone through and move on to the RR like a sentient human being

You have a good eye, my vert is indeed R4.
R4 is an interesting color, as it looks red and orange depending on lighting.
I personally think it looks more orange, which is my favorite Mopar color.

it looks very orange to me on my screen anyway

OK I'll play, my ragtop, was once my Mom's car that she got in '81 I was lucky enough to get it in the mid nineties and just freshened it up two years ago.
