I know everyone loves talking about the door birds, but Is there any reference that gives proper placement of the Standing Bird on the Dash? I have some pics, but wondered if there is something from the factory with dimensions, etc like they do with stripes, etc?

Unless the factory decal had a placement guide on the backing I would say not. But even if they did these were placed by line workers so they may vary. I have pics of where my original was placed if you want to look!

mine is still original , in the factory st louis built local , use the emblem at a referance and you should be fine

I just measured it. The center of the bird's stomach is 1 1/2" from the side of the roadrunner badge. Does not mean mine is "correct" though. Here is a link from the past.
