Carlisle meet up times?

For the guy staying at the ramada inn limited , are we going to hang out in the lot and party? Should I throw the gas grill in the enclosed trailer? Is it even allowed there?

Oh yeah, there was a bunch of Canadians that did just that every night last time I was there :yesnod:
 
I know that PA. laws are strange at least to me on alcohol but I will reciprocate and bring any thing I can to keep from being a leach food or beverage wise. :yesnod:
 
I look forward to seeing you guys again. As far as alcohol, you should be ok in the parking lot, but no open containers in a car, even passengers. That may be the law everywhere. In PA we have "state stores" for the hard stuff. Beer is at bars and distributors - no alcohol sold in grocery stores.

IIRC you can walk into a bar/restaurant and buy a six or twelve pack to go...but walk into the local beer barn and you have to buy a case. :huh: Very, very strange marching orders to those of us that live in other states. Hell, down here you can get cold beer of any quantity ANYWHERE and most grocery stores sell liquor... :basketcase:
 
Yeah, same here in Ohio.

It was quite the experience on my second trip to Carlisle.....Trying to find/buy beer was quite difficult.

Being the 14th year we have been to Carlisle, I know where to get the necessities. Alcohol is in the mall right by the hotel, and a beer dist. is just about a mile down on 11 towards Harrisburg. Space is going to be limited for us this year. Not bringing the truck and trailer. Just driving the car out.
