Engine and Tranny finally made it home!

Yes it is good to have the motor and transmission home finally. I am trying to paint some brackets and clean up a few things and put new motor mounts on it before putting it in the car.:beep:

Yeah, I see yours back there too. Mine is a collect all, how about yours? you sure have a nice red bird sitting in front, too!

rrshop1.jpg rrshop3.jpg Thanks, but that's the shop where the car is. I just have a 2 car garage and keep saying I am going to put a shop in. I am running into difficulty with contractors wanting an absurd amount of money and dealing with my yard slope. I get frustrated with the nonsense and want to just move to a house that already has the shop but can't find one to fit my needs. When I do, it sells fast and I miss out. Not a good time to move now either. :( So I am back to square 1 on trying to find the right place to put it.

We bought this place like this. We happened to see the for sale sign 15 minutes after they put it out. it has a five bay garage and a 16 x 30 breezeway with a lift and then another 2 bay garage with heating/cooling. That is what I liked about the place lots of storage room. that was 15 years ago. Time flies when you're having fun.:thumbsup:

Engine and transmission and driveshaft are finally in the car and I am so glad that it is in there it was a heck of a job!

that was a big hurdle to cross! I'm ready for the car to move on its own power. I want to move it out of my painting area and paint the rest of my pieces.

Hey roadrunnerbob my motor just need's to be painted and some cleaning. But we have to get the car done before we do the motor thing. All of us move in different direction's in restoring these car's. Each to his own when restoring it all get's done one way or another. Russ. :thumbsup2:
