From personal experience (as reported by the engine builder):

my 426 Street Hemi weighed in at 843 before the modifications began (it's not called the Elephant for nothing). When finished at 505 ci, with every piece of aluminum and alloys that could be used in and on the original cast iron block, it weighs 610 pounds.

223-Lbs is allot of weight, on your old combo, especially of the shocks suspension, better performance, braking & handling, just with weigh loss, let alone any added efficiency or performance... it's all about power to weight ratios & now only 530-Lbs shedding another 80-Lbs more, it weighs less than a 360-SB barely more than a 273-340 now... Win Win !!, to me

OK....DYNO TODAY
first pull was at 6500 rpms....855 HORSEPOWER
second pull at 6800 rpms......877 hp at 32 degrees timing
3rd pull at 7000rpms.....887 hp at 34 degrees timing with 753 torque at 5400 rpms

i am very happy with that....he ran it with 109 octane racing fuel
the engine builder set the valve lash @.006 intake &.008 exhaust......hemi heated up we pulled the valve covers and lash grew ....intake was .028 & exhaust .032.....what i needed was .022 intake &.024 exhaust.....so we set them plus float levels on dominator and went for some pulls.........ran into some oil leaks....was not too happy.....rear main....plate behind oil filter which bolts to side of oil pump and dip stick.....
.i tried to download video whish was 1st pull but was 227 mbs....too big but was able to download on facebook.....here it is....
