I have had that on my Christmas list for year's. The lift that is.
Russ you should do my trick and just start buying yourself Christmas presents!
Well every time the UPS Guy show's up my wife is asking NOW WHAT. In other word's she means you think more of that damn car than you do me. Do you feel what I am saying. I bought her a new set of window shades for here new journey and put them on yesterday. That might keep her quiet for about a week.
Russ you keep on doing whatever you gotta do to keep her chirping. We all feel the pinch sometimes.
I thought i give her a service oil and filter. Another tick off list. While sitting on hoist doing nothing also Braced the front guards.
How often do you change the fluid's. What type oil are you using and weight. My self I change the air filter every second oil change. Lot of road dust where I live. Enjoy driving that bird brother.
Hell of a sway bar!
well i havnt really had it long enough to actually do an oil change (while driving it)since purchasing the car drove it home put it on hoist, and thats as far as its been so far
I feel your pain man . Just got my licence back after 7 months... Gonna feel good to sit in it again after so long, trust me.
For some stupid reason some one welded these 3.5" x 2? plate steel bits in all 4 foot wells on the floor..
is there a hole for seat bolts under them??
That would be my question also. Support metal for mounting the seat's. When ordering my floor pan got it for bucket seat's and those extra support's where welded in already.
nope the poorly weld onto floor and there is no holes through them, also some holes gas axed into rear wheel arch, , some random shit,
Well then some one was just patching holes I suppose. Cutting holes is better to cut round hole and the patch it weld's in better. We where just shooting in the dark I guess. What some people do to fix hole's.
Finally both trunk extensions done
Some real shit repairs. Ton of body filler. quarter patch panel over the top of rusted original panel (whats left)
looking good. No more rust or hole's. Could reach my hand into the trunk when getting the old runner here at the house. That top corner near the rear was a real bitch to get too. Had to point the welder and close my eyes and hope for the best. Good job dodgey
Yes same here. Bond O all around the back window instead of putting in new sheet metal. When replacing a front fender which was a donner put a little filler in a few places. Could not be helped. It was solid but had some dent's in it. Could not get them all out with a body hammer.
Sounds familiar to what I had to deal with mine too.
Best of luck and keep going on that great job.
