Hello! Nice forum you have here. I'm from SLC Utah, and have not owned an old Mopar in years. I am trying to track down my 69 RR that I sold to a guy back east around 1998 / 99 on eBay. I found the VIN the other day, but have not had much luck tracking it down on the web. The VIN is RM23H9G166079. Any idea of other search methods that might yield some results? Selling this car is probably one of the single worst decisions I ever made. Even if I sold it for a 71' GTX 440x6. Sold that too. Some people never learn!

Regardless, I'm hoping to find another 69 to restore. Sad thing is that this time around, my dad won't be here to do it with me.

Thanks!

Damon

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! I truly believe that it's time to come back "full circle" if you will to Mopar, even if my current DD is a 300C HEMI (not quite the same however!) Amazing how the price of these fine cars has literally doubled, and the amount of tribute cars I see about the same! Not that there is anything wrong with tribute cars, I have seen some amazing examples! When I get a chance, I'll post some pictures of my B Bodies (the RR which is my avatar, and my 71 GTX.) As I mentioned, I'm in Utah, and on the lookout for a RR. I'm hoping to find something #s matching, maybe even a basket case. Nothing better than the feeling of bringing one of these beauties back from the "grave."

Again, thank you all for the warm welcome, I look forward to stopping by here periodically!

Hello Damon, welcome from Minnesota. When you find a 69RR, you can restore it in your Dad's honor. Good luck in the search..

Hi Damon - welcome aboard. It just so happens I know of a road runner for sale down here in Orlando, FL. I know the owner and she is selling it due to financial hardship. Her dad is currently going through the car and getting the engine rebuilt. Other than that I know little more about it other than it is Petty Blue (mey be B5 originally) with the hood stripes, white vinyl top, white interior, 383 and automatic on the column (I think). It needs some body work as far as I know.
If you are interested you can contact Kim Jones, cloe143@yahoo.com or call her at 407-668-3197.
Good luck on your search!
