Picked up a 69 a few months ago and have not had much time to get started on it. Still getting my shop put together and get thing put away from my move and shop build. Not much progress, been busy getting moved into the new shop and getting things Slowly organized. Started tearing down the interior and looking things over and just as expected there is more rot than expected, still not bad so far. Ill try to get some more pictures of the problem areas. Looks like the ole girl was hit in the front LH side at some point in its life. The frame rail has some heave metal patches welded to it, I bought a new frame rail and going to have it installed......I feel like that is way over my head. Im in Weatherford TX and called Tripple F but not sure when they will be able to get it in. If anybody knows some other places in the Ft Worth area im all ears.View attachment 39800View attachment 39801View attachment 39802View attachment 39803View attachment 39804IMG_5295.jpegIMG_5296.jpegIMG_5297.jpegIMG_5298.jpeg

Welcome to the forum! I tried to view your pics but got this - "You do not have permission to view this page or perform this action."

Up at the shop today and took some more pics of the problem areas so far. This is on drivers side, looks like it got dented in when it was
hit at some point.

This seem to be a repair because the original color is LimeLite green and this part is blue along with the fender and door.

More signs of a hit, I have a new radiator support and bottom suport.

New parts waiting to go in. Going to have a shop put the car on a rack to make sure everything is straight and have them weld in the new
frame rail and radiator support before I do anything to the car.

Here you can see the steel plates that have been welded to the frame rail.
