I have a hankering to put the original steering wheel on the car that I took off back in the 1990s. I pulled it out of storage today. I remember it being cracked, but its pretty bad. I looked at the OEM reproductions
seems like the only color that's unavailable is the saddle tan. I was thinking of repairing this one and shooting some saddle tan paint on it. Has anyone restored their wheel ? What did you use ? Years ago I filled cracks
on a wheel with POR 15 putty, looked good until the putty shrank. It seems like an epoxy would be the way to go on a plastic wheel.

I used PC7 puddy sanded primed and painted. I put it away in a hot garage and it still looks good 10 years later. The OER wheel I put on the car at the same time developed a fine crack 4 years later and that's in an air conditioned garage with very little use.

I have done a lot of reading on PC7 and I think that's what I'm going with.
