The Road Runner Story

I have read that before. In fact, I have it stored in my computer. Not only interesting, but amazing that the bird ever made it to production with all the obstacles that had to be overcome. Sure glad Jack persisted.
 
Jack Smith is writing the foreword for the 69 Road Runner book.
 
One of our guys was asking me about this article so I thought that I'd give it a bump in case any of the newer guys have not seen it.
 
Thanks for posting that again Ray, it's always good reading it. I'm glad they didn't go with "La Mancha" for the name. It just doesn't sound right for a car name. It makes me think of that silly movie "Man of La Mancha" that they made.
