three speed wiper swaps from two speed.

Ok so I had a two-speed wiper motor and switch. Putting the fresh air grabber on and had to change the wiper motor and switch. Is there anything special about the wiring to the new three speed motor switch I should know. Tried it yesterday and the wipers move some but not strong. The plug went on the switch, and the brown wire went to the outside prong for the washer switch. I got the motor and switch and the switch was used. So now have a new switch coming hope that is what the problem is. Any other info appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Russ. I had looked into replacing my two speed wiper with a 3 speed. The guy I was going to buy it from told me that the main under dash harness that connects to the switch may need a jumper wire added for high speed. He was going to help me identify it if I bought his wiper motor. I haven't pulled the trigger on it yet, so I don't have that information. I hope that helps some.
