torque specs please

hey guys ive been redoing a 69 road runner from ground up and im putting together the rear end and i was wondering if anyone knew the torque specs on the ring and pinion gear? i have found that on the ring is 55ft lbs and the caps are 90ft lbs i think this seems kinda high so i just wanted to double check? any info would be greatly appreciated thanks.

55 ft/lbf and 90 ft/lbf is correct.

240 ft/lbf minimum for the pinion nut for the straight shank (small and large) and 170 ft/lbf minimum for the taper shank pinions.

if you go to the tech section here, I'll bet it's in the Factory Service Manual
