I had a bad set of cam bearings I had to deal with with my block. The rear bearing was so tight it stuck to the cam when I pulled it out.It was a set of coated bearings that I would never use again.

he had to remove the cam from the rear of the block.....bearing was burred up......very glad chris talked me into having it refreshed......would have sucked to keep running it and have it blow up.cam was showing wear but the ceramics on the bottom of the lifters were perfect except for ungluing :puke:

I was just going to ask you how they fastened the ceramics to the lifter. Glue? That sounds like a red flag from day one George. Glad it didn't end up worse than it is, although it still doesn't sound too good. How are those bologna sandwiches.
