Wet sanding clear coat

The wet sanding of the clear has started. Going 1,000 grit, 1,500 then a 3,000 trizact.... Following that up with the buffer/polisher. Sure is stressful!

Yes, low speed on the buffer, (1000 or lower) and stay away from the edges of the clear.
You can always go back and do the edges by hand with a cloth pad then, a foam pad.

Here is a good visual on 1500 vs 3000. The 3,000 just uses about 4 passes and that's it... Going to buff this weekend

I just wet sanded my RR and took two days and 4hrs to finish after I got the shine I wanted I put 4 coats of polysheild on it...its so slick you can't lean on it. 3m has a new micro compound with polish mix that cuts fast and less work! Yours looks real nice!
