Hello all...Wanting to go with new steel wheels/tires for my RR. I will eventually put disk brakes on the front. I am thinking 15X8 with 4.5" backspace in the rear, with 275/60/15 tires and 15X6 with 3.75" backspace in the front, with 225/60/15 tires...Will I have any fitment issues ??

Thanks so much !!!

Also have been asking the same question's. One person said he got 10 on the back with 60.s and had 4.5 back spacing. Had some rub if 5 people in car till he got the 6 leaf spring's. That is what I have gone with the 6 leaf spring with 2 and 1/2 recurve. If you look in the last week or so you will find this info either projects or discussion I think. Stay cool lets see some pic's of the ride.

You should be fine. I'm running 225/70/15" on a 7" rim (4" backspacing) on the front, and 275/60/15" on an 8" rim (4.250" backspacing) on the rear. Similar to what you have described. No issues whatsoever. The 4.5" backspacing on an 8" rim with a 275/60 tire is a tried and true combination that MANY of the guys on here are using.

Yes only if someone has not changed them already. Have not changed mine yet but will. If the tire store changes a tire for ya may twist one off before they realize it. Stud should be marked on end. L or R.

Left will have an L on the end. If you have acorn nuts they are usually marked also

I don't see why not... Backspacing and width are backspacing and width regardless of wheel style. Post some pics after you do it.

only problem with disc brake fitment will be backspace. got a mate down here with a 70 challenger, ended up going with a modern 17" wheel because although the disc (wilwood 11.6") fit within the wheel space, the backspace didnt allow for fitment. Dont know of anyone whos put the same kit on a RR though.

Ive got 15x8 w/4.5"on the front with 235 60 with no rubbing, so you should have no problem

Now that look's like a Runner. With that old school look I am use to seeing for the 60's and 70's. Not this lowered to the payment and looking like a Cholo. and scraping the bottom off the car on every bump. It is missing the traction bars usually paint them yellow. All in all it is a winner in my book. How much rubber did you get on the back 8 inch or 10.:thumbsup:
