alternator actually was my first thought. Is it overcharging?
Not really I believe it was a little under 14, I’m thinking the alternator shorted out that terminal was loose but I think it became loose because the insulator melted a little bit?
Another thing I noticed was kind of peculiar to me was someone did a Her Tronics conversion and it still has the ballast resistor in the System ,
so I pulled out the instructions to the per Tronics because they left the box in the car with the points and everything that they took out and it says to leave it in there that it works with it.
which I thought you would want 12v not six or seven after being cut down from the ballast resistor or does the per Tronics wire up differently?
