bob, we WILL be ready for race season. Should have tranny and clutch out tomorrow and get the clutch discs off to be rehubbed. Then I can put my passion 5 gear in

last weekend fun, rest of tailpipes removed, tranny removed. comes out a lot easier that it goes in. coming weekend will be bellhousing and clutch

Waiting to see how you like that 5 speed trannie. At least you don't have to change any thing or do you. Just to ask is the fifth gear hooked to the reverse linkage. Or how dose the shift pattern work. Russ.

The passion 5speed uses a Hemi 18 spline input shaft. My current 4 gear uses the smaller 23 spline input so clutch discs need to be rehubbed also new hydraulic clutch throw out with bigger center. With changing rear diff not sure yet if need different length driveshaft. Shifter is also different. Will post pics as I get to each step

This is interesting subject. Here about the transmission but have not talked to any one who has one. It will be a grate up grade quikbird. :thumbsup2::thumbsup2::thumbsup2:

everything out all the way to the flywheel. clutch discs on their way to McLeod to be rehubbed, then I can start putting it all back together upgraded

this is true. I did not buy coated headers. probably should have. maybe i'll just cover them up with that heat wrap

My headers looked worse than yours before. Wish I had taken a before pic. You could wrap them or try VHT high temp paint. Mine still look good from a few years ago. Had them sandblasted first.
