Wow, somebody took a pic of my car and created the " Made in 1969" thing and it keeps popping up on Facebook and other places and now from that link I find the photoshopped second pic...

Too funny, I was using a mirror to find the numbers and I wrote them down if reverse order. 2468130 9 is what they are. The other number set is 4 * 22* 69 so I think I am pretty sure I have a numbers matching car after all LOL.

Well the trans has my vin info just like the block does. I think I have bad info on how to date the block. The big casting number up on the side of the block are 9 0318642 and a guy was telling me it was a 68 block from that.

I caught some light that shows how reflective the stripes can be that I put on, I love them! I am glad it came from the factory with the red instead of the white...it really fits the cars attitude better LOL.

I looked at the 383 and checked the number on the side of the block...it looks like one of the numbers in the middle did not get stamped or is stamped so bad that is does not show through the paint. It matches the info I have and appears to be a numbers matching block but I looked farther up on...

Ruby Red Reflective Stripes are on...still sitting on the fence about painting the flat black stripes back on it should have. I am just not sold on it and personally I think it will be too much. Gonna roll like this for now.
