Quality and availability of grille and headlamp bezels

Since ordering a Mopar Performance grille with headlamp bezels from Jegs in Nov 13 I have patiently received a few 1-2 week delays in shipping date until just recently learning that the new scheduled ship date is Jun 14. Ouch! I cancelled my order and am again searching the internet to buy a...

Electronic ignition conversion engine harness for 440-6

I also am in the process of installing a new engine harness from Yearone that is for electronic ignition conversion. In addition to the orange box and electronic distributor you will need a 1975ish four pin ballist resitor, 1970 or later voltage regulator, and a 1970 or later alternator with...

    Quick Question

I am not certain but it is reasonable that the angle is different to maintain the lens in vertical position to reflect horizontal lights. Therefore, I would say that the side marker shown in bottom right of your photograph is for front fender. Are your dogs wearing red booties or do they have...

    STUPID convertible trim!

I am having the same problem with the screws being too short that came with the clips from R/T. What size screw did you end up using? It appears that the length of screw needs to be just right to prevent screw tip from damaging trim piece.

    Trunk lid decal

I purchased my deck lid/dash stickers from Yearone and when I installed one on the dash a significant amount of the sticker paint came off on the film paper. I did not go crazy rubbing the paper and I am not happy! I will not use Yearone stickers on the trunklid or doors. Where is a good...

I am referring to the stainless steel trim that is placed along the opening for convertible top that basically rubs against the cloth top. I did not see the corrosion until I removed the stainless steel trim and then found that the groove for mounting the trim was rusted away. However, looking...

    Body stamps

If I knew any of the members very well I would say so and so had been working on the assembly line that day with a hangover. Other than trying to be funny, is it possible that the car had been stolen and somebody changed the dash and fender tag?

Window Glass has Separated from Metal Regulator Channel

Yes, the chrome strips also fell off my glass. Basically everything has fallen off my glass except the "Mopar" stickers, which look pretty cool. Too bad for me the previous owner also applied a big "Plymouth" sticker between the radio and roadrunner emblem. That sticker would not come off...

Window Glass has Separated from Metal Regulator Channel

The glass has separated from the metal regulator channel (not sure of correct name) on all four of my windows. How can I remount the glass to channel because the rubber is no longer elastic and more like plastic? Is there an easy way to align the glass relative to the channel?

I will be driving the car and not entering it in concourse shows. However, I want to stay away from cheap looking parts. If it shows up from Jegs and looks bad I will simply return it. Also, I am planning to order the "made in china" tail light bezels and AMD bumpers. Does anybody have...

Thanks for the feedback on grille. I received a cost quote of around $1,200 from King of Trim for restoring the original grille and headlamp bezels and the cost new one at Jegs is $476. It is difficult to know on what parts to spend more cash for a better part. Thanks for the feedback on...

Thanks everyone! Does anybody have a good method of sealing the convertible trim that runs around perimeter of top opening? I found a significant amount of rust under the trim and do not want that to happen again. Where is a good place to get stickers? I bought some from Yearone and pieces...

    1969beepbeep Intro

I am 50 years old and my passion for Roadrunners started when I was 5 years old and the next door neighbor (Plymouth car salesmen) brought home for one day a red '68. Back then I loved watching the Roadrunner on TV and seeing that car for the first time had a huge impact on me. I have owned my...
