Yes, we have to take our lump's, but it is not all bad. Once finished and you're driving it we tend to forget about what we had to do to get there. Maybe. Keep pics of what you do and remember the time you spent on restoring the car back to life. It is all a part of the game. Unless you are pretty well off and can afford one total restored. Post pics of the progress. We love Pics.
I'm sure I will be taking many more lumps before this Runner is back to all it's badass glory. I hope I will be able to get it done. Just going to stay focused and take it one step at a time.

Is it totally rusty through or would it hold a weld?

My Runner arrived today. Runs ok. Needs a new carb and exhaust for starters. While the car was still on the carrier I got a decent look at the underside of the floor pan. I was amazed that I didn't see any rust. I will inspect more closely and remove carpeting. K frame showed up today too.

Oh love it, really cool! Keep up updated on the process of blasting and painting the underside! It's something I would like to do too whenever I get one.

Grate you got your baby. Now the fun starts. Good news not to have rust in the floor pans and under side of the car. Wish you the best with it and keep us updated on the progress:thumbsup:.
