Exhaust Tips...

don't doubt the sidepipes...but my thinking says the heat coming from a side pipe would be hotter than out of a full exhaust? anyway, I've had full exhausts for 30+ years and never had any rear bumper damage.

Love the stance of your rr- BC, would own that color myself. I agree should never happen, if it was entire bumper I’d say plating error; it was just where the tips were. And do miss those front vent windows, it’s claustrophobic not to have them.

My original rear bumper had a bluish tinge above each of the exhaust tips. I'm sure it was 47 years worth of neglect (at the time). Nothing seemed to clean it off until I tried Never-Dull.

Just a master mind at work. Fabrication on the runner has sharpened my computer skill's. Will not go into how long it took to do this with the old window's 10 I have. Love all the fun us guy's have with each other but know that all of us are for each other in the end. Was not for this forum could not have gotten as far along on the runner as I have. So I will still be in need of help in the reassembly of the car. Thanks to all of the 69 runner owner's. Rusty.
